What You'll Do:
Leverage and implement a proven IT sales methodology.

Train and consistently execute a structured IT sales process.

Understand complex business IT challenges and why companies need advanced technology solutions.

Engage in relentless follow-up and follow-through to secure deals.

Maintain a track record of exceeding IT sales goals.

What You Bring:
Experience:

2-5 years of successful experience in outside sales, preferably within IT, technology, or related sectors.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the IT industry, with demonstrated ability to close deals and generate revenue.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including software, hardware, cybersecurity, and managed IT services.

Ability to stay current with the latest technology trends and adapt quickly to industry changes.

Sales Skills:

Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities specific to the IT sector.

Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate the value of IT solutions and address client concerns.

Proficient in using CRM tools, particularly those tailored to the IT industry.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed IT sales targets.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple IT accounts and deadlines.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the local market (Central Long Island) is a plus, especially in understanding the specific technology needs of local businesses.

Strong networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the IT industry.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits and meetings.

Willingness to travel within the sales territory as needed.
