Detailed JD:

Responsibilities for the Sales Director

Lead large & diverse Engineering / Digital + IT teams focused on working with CIO organization (IT/Digital Services, ERP , SI) with good background in "Rail Road Business being key. Having a strong Engineering background especially working in Railroad segment is an added plus.

Identifying and resolve complex business transactions, including but not limited to helping defining and scoping Engineering projects, helping with Staffing/Recruitment at scale and creating relationship with local staffing agencies for special niche skills.

Lead proposal efforts, in collaboration with internal team and client, to define an overall approach, schedule, and cost that represents an acceptable benefit to the client.

Facilitate detailed project planning, including all elements of scope, cost, schedule, risk and technical performance deliverables, to fully define the project through completion.

Manage internal team project performance by proactively balancing the triple-constraint of scope, cost, and schedule, leading to a successful conclusion.

Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project execution, providing periodic assessments of project performance against plan, raising and executing needed risk mitigations.

Provide technical support and oversight throughout the execution of the project.

Manage projects on a cross functional basis, including direct supervision of team members

Understand, embrace and ensure compliance to relevant Quality Systems and applicable government and industry regulations.

Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication, follow-through, and organizational skills

Requirements for the Program Manager

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a business management field from an accredited institution and total of 15+ years of Experience and minimum of 10+ years of selling into CIO Organization, at least 5-8 yrs. should be selling into any Rail Road Company or a Services organization supporting or targeting Rail Road Business.

Demonstrated interpersonal and project management skills with ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external counterparts.

Demonstrated ability to give presentations and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, and other standard programs for project, business and financial management.
