About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Informatica Professional Services (IPS) Specialists to support the IRS's Enterprise Informatica Platform (EIP). The successful candidates will be responsible for engineering, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the EIP infrastructure. This role demands deep expertise in Informatica products, providing technical guidance, and supporting critical IRS projects and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Provide engineering support for all Informatica products in the IRS portfolio.

Design, configure, and maintain the Enterprise Informatica Platform (EIP) in a multi-node, active-active environment.

Customize Informatica connectors for cloud-based systems and ensure compliance with IPv4 and IPv6 dual stack environments.

Troubleshoot complex integration issues related to Informatica and other third-party utilities.

Provide expert recommendations for performance tuning and optimization of Informatica services.

Conduct knowledge transfer, training sessions, and develop training materials for IRS personnel.

Support the implementation of new Informatica technologies and integrate them with existing systems.

Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation, design diagrams, and technical recommendations.

Qualifications:

Must be an Informatica Professional Services (IPS) resource from Informatica or an authorized partner/reseller.

Extensive subject matter expertise in all Informatica products listed in the IRS portfolio.

Proven engineering experience in supporting the Enterprise Informatica Platform (EIP).

Experience with Priority 1 and Priority 2 ticket resolution.

Experience in modifying Informatica source code for future software versions and emergency bug fixes.

Engineering experience in supporting and implementing IT solutions for large Federal and/or Commercial Enterprises.

Strong understanding of multi-cluster, multi-environment infrastructures providing PaaS and SaaS.

Knowledge of implementing highly scalable, performance-driven FedRAMP solutions using Informatica cloud technologies.

Ability to design and integrate Informatica environments in geographically distributed setups.

Experience:

Required: Minimum 13+ years of professional services experience directly supporting Enterprise Informatica Platform (EIP).

Proven experience in designing, documenting, and implementing complex IT systems using Informatica.

Hands-on experience with performance tuning, business continuity, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.

Demonstrated expertise in supporting highly complex multi-environment infrastructures.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the field of Informatica services and solutions will also be considered.

Licenses and Certifications:

Relevant Informatica certifications are highly preferred.

Security and Clearance:

Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation as required by IRS security requirements. The candidate must be eligible for access to IRS systems, data, and facilities.

Work Environment:

Location: 50% Onsite at IRS facilities and 50% Remote.

Must be able to travel to the government site for meetings within two hours' notice.
