About the Role:
Are you passionate about technology and eager to support critical missions? We are looking for a talented and motivated Infrastructure Systems Admin to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support Defense and Intelligence Community projects by leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices. You will work with a dedicated Special Operations customer, focusing on the development, integration, and maintenance of commercial and government software platforms within a larger governmental enterprise software framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Linux engineering projects, providing guidance and mentorship.
Respond to high-level incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability.
Execute projects using agile methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Identify and implement automation and process improvements, staying updated on industry trends.
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
Work closely with other teams to achieve common goals and foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Advanced Linux and RedHat administration skills.
Knowledge of Juniper or Cisco, server kickstart.
Experience with cloud services.
Dependability to be at work during assigned hours and complete tasks as expected.
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Experience with documenting procedures.
