Job Requirements / Description
We are looking for our next team player to join our Embedded Software Engineer team!
This individual will be responsible for releasing HW & SW design solutions for Electronic components in the Vehicle functions or body controls and body builder specific functions, applicable for North American truck products.
Additionally, they will work with global technology development teams to track the platform development progress and also take part in discussions with Tier-1 supplier of components.
Other responisbilities include:
- Follow level 4 time plan activities and milestones
- Work with component installations for Body ECUs as needed
- Work with truck integration team for solving issues arising due to it on the component side
- Respond to defect reports and follow the defect report process for resolution
- Document SW configurations for various variant combinations & ESW SW release process is mandatory
- Work with Canalyzer tools and analyze log files and perform trouble shooting
- Download Software using factory, engineering & service tools
- Perform minimum smoke test on bench before delivering to integration teams
- Take part in PI planning and breakdown features to stories and tasks and follow-up though sprints
- Will need to work on trucks when needed to de-bug and trouble shoot issues
Requirements
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
2-5 years of experience
Automotive experience preferred
Experience using CANalyzer tools
