Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies. Ideal candidate will have a strong project management background coupled with network engineering background. Provides technical guidance concerning automated solutions to complex analysis and studies and prepares reports and presentations. Completes assigned projects and major phases of large projects and provides technical and specialized guidance solutions to complex IT problems. Performs fact-finding, analysis and development of hypothesis/conclusions, production of final recommendation reports and delivery of presentations. Delivers project completion on time and to budget.

Qualifications:
BS degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline with 10 years of IT experience is required. 5 years of additional IT related experience may be substituted for a BS degree.

Experience leading medium to large complex projects.

Demonstrated experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.

Experience ensuring that the project delivers to government expectations on time and to budget.

Ability to perform elaborate analyses and studies and prepare reports and give presentations.

Active DoD 8570 certification (IAT Level II compliance) is required.

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Target Salary Range:
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
