Overview:
We are a global manufacturing company needing an ERP Accounting Applications Support person to join our busy ERP team.
Summary:
This position is responsible for helping maintain the QAD ERP Business systems that support plants in multiple countries.
Your skills will be needed to analyze challenges and work with a small team of ERP members to help solve problems and create effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Help support the accounting functional areas within the QAD ERP system
Analyze information, problems, requested changes and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions
Become the subject matter expert for the following:
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
General Ledger
Cost Accounting
Variance Analysis
Assist with global and regional QAD application projects
Create policies and procedures to support the QAD ERP system
Assist users as needed with issues regarding the QAD ERP system, including consultation on system functionality and utilization
Perform end-user training as needed
Help with new site implementations
Help with ERP software upgrades
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience working with QAD ERP preferred
2+ years of Filtration Group experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of ERP accounting systems
Good written and verbal communications skills required
Ability to work and thrive in a multitasked, fast paced environment with minimal supervision
Approved for domestic and international travel. Available to travel up to 25%, or more, during projects
Professional attitude and able to maintain confidentiality
