Lead Network Engineer
Location: Brentwood, TN / Hybrid
Duration: 6 months with possible contract to hire
Description:

Drive updates and communication till resolution
Project Administration
Communicate Status and Lead IC and Contractor team for large technology deployments
Lead effort tdocument standard operational process for new technology.
Lead process creation and execution for complex technology installations
Learn, understand, and drive new architectures and standards associated with all TSC architecture.
Organize and Participate in Project design and organization with PMO
Help delegate functional project work tEngineer/Senior Engineer team.
On assigned projects act as technical project manager working closely with project managers tbuild project plan, objectives, definition of done.
Training:
Train and socialize new processes and technologies tpeers and internal support team.
Write and publish Knowledge base articles for internal and external troubleshooting and configuration processes.
Review and approve KB articles written by other team members.
Lead Team training in specialized areas of network work for other team members
Inter-team Collaboration:
Work with other support teams tidentify process gaps
Work with other support teams tidentify technology gaps
Actively develop and lead relationships cross-departmentally
Have visibility and contribute strategically tsupport roadmap.
Represent networking at change and architecture review boards.
Leadership:
Lead communication efforts with leadership on high priority trouble issues.
Strong verbal and written communication ability at a leadership level.
Participate in organizing support team for larger initiatives
Participate in Strategy and Architectural Design Sessions
Be able tanswer leadership questions about network design and operation
Vendor relations:
Work with equipment vendors tdetermine product roadmaps, software bugs, and device lifecycle needs
Work with circuit carriers timprove capacity, redundancy and resiliency
Intra-team Collaboration:
Work closely with architects tdrive improvements tour network reliability
Work with all networking engineers texplain projects, teach and assist with resolving chronic problems
Documentation:
Define documentation standards
Document and create repeatable resolutions tcommon problems
Manage the process tsocialize resolutions with lower support tiers
Create and approve Knowledge Base Articles tsocialize with Help desk and IT Operations
Create in depth Network Documentation and Architectural network diagrams
