Power BI Architecture and Optimization Specialist
Location: Milpitas, CA or Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Architecture and Optimization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing architecture recommendations, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the performance of large data sets for Power BI dashboards. This role requires a deep understanding of Power BI, data architecture, and performance optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide architecture recommendations for Power BI implementations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Optimize workflows and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Power BI dashboard development and deployment.
Analyze and optimize the performance of large data sets to ensure fast and responsive Power BI dashboards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Develop and maintain best practices, guidelines, and standards for Power BI architecture and performance optimization.
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues in Power BI dashboards.
Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the architecture and performance of Power BI solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in Power BI architecture, performance optimization, and large data sets management.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, or AWS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques.
Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
