Application Developer
Position Overview:
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking a dedicated and skilled Application Developer 3 (AD3) to support the upgrade of the Resource First Portal (RFP) system to meet WCAG Accessibility requirements. The RFP application is built using ASP.Net, C#.Net, .NET MVC, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and capable of meeting tight deadlines. Daily responsibilities include analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and upgrading application code to ensure accessibility compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
Upgrade existing applications to ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
Convert monolithic applications to microservices architecture.
Record, verify, log, and document testing results.
Maintain versioning and source control using TFS.
Develop and enhance applications using the Angular Framework.
Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Skills and Experience:
Microsoft .NET Framework: 3+ years
SQL Server 2016 or higher: 3+ years
SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services): 1+ years
Microsoft TFS or similar version control tool: 1+ years
Angular Framework: 1+ years
