This Opportunity

We are seeking a talented professional Digital Twin Front End Developer who is interested in developing advanced multimodal (web, Unity/Unreal, augmented reality/virtual reality) user interfaces and visualizations of earth observation and scientific data.  This position can be home-based at either our office in Louisville, Colorado or in Colorado Springs.  Applicants must have a passion for innovation and ability to work in a collaborative environment while rapidly delivering on individual tasks. 

 

Your Impact

Responsible for developing front-end digital twin user interface and visualization of earth observation data and scientific analysis information

Implement two-way interaction with digital twins of satellites, space environments, and their interactions

Ability to deliver relevant information in an efficient and clean interface quickly

Be part of an agile team delivering state-of-the art visualizations and UI for satellite observations, geospatial data, and satellite operations

Provide expertise of advanced 3D visualization technologies and techniques

Qualifications:
Required

Bachelor's or technical school degree in a related field (or equivalent) with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 years of experience, or a Ph.D. and 3 - 5 years of experience

Development experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS

Development experience using real-time 3D visualization

Ability to create clean, minimal, and efficient interfaces

Demonstrate initiative in performing job tasks

Exhibit problem-solving skills leading to sound judgment and quality decisions

Preferred

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and other web services

Experience deploying to containerized microservices using docker/podman/apptainer in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, Redux-saga, or Apollo. Bundlers such as webpack and vite are a plus as well.

Experience wireframing or creating 3D mock ups

Experience with WebGL/openGL & GLSL is big plus

Experience with geospatial software packages and databases such as QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, etc.

Experience with CesiumJS or other web visualization tools

Experience in developing with Unity, Unreal, or other real-time visualization engine

Knowledge of GIS and science data formats (NetCDF, HDF5, GeoJSON, etc.)

Equal Pay Act:
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
