Job Description:
We are seeking a talented AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and optimize AWS services, including EC2, EKS, and other related services.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Ensure smooth operation of Unix/Linux servers and environments.
• Design and manage microservices architecture for high performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python.
• Implement and manage messaging systems using Kafka.
• Monitor and maintain system performance using New Relic and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Java applications into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Automate configuration management and deployment processes using Ansible.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as New Relic.
• Knowledge of Java and its integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification.
• Experience with other CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with other programming languages and tools.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
