Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Candidate Preference: Local to Charlotte, NC or nearby areas.
Work Authorization: W2 only
Must-Have Skills:
Load Balancing Expertise: 3-5 years of experience with F5 Big IP and/or AVI NSX Smart Load Balancer.
Network Infrastructure: 3-5 years of general network infrastructure experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Scripting: Python scripting experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a Network Engineer with a strong focus on load balancing to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining load balancing solutions using F5 Big IP or AVI NSX Smart Load Balancer. You'll work closely with other network engineers and IT teams to ensure optimal performance and availability of critical applications and services.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and troubleshoot load balancing solutions using F5 Big IP or AVI NSX Smart Load Balancer.
Monitor and optimize load balancing performance to ensure efficient traffic distribution.
Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for load balancing infrastructure.
Collaborate with application teams to understand their load balancing requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for load balancing configurations and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on the latest load balancing technologies and best practices.
