The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).

Responsibilities:
Kearney & Company is looking to add an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to our dynamic team. The BI Developer will be integral in creating data models, data pipelines, and dashboard visualization solutions that help teams execute mission-critical work.

This role is specific to the DC Metro area.

Job Responsibilities

Lead discussions around scope of work and technical requirements definitions with non-technical stakeholders.

Manage and implement changes in BI projects.

Design and develop data models.

Develop & maintain data visualizations, charts, and dashboards for end-users.

Deploy automated and semi-automated pipelines to supply BI solutions with data.

Deploy BI solutions in cloud environments.

Optimize system performance through regular assessments and action plans.

Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure excellence in objectives and deliverables.

Stay updated with BI product enhancements and best practices, ensuring BI standards are maintained.

 

Qualifications:
Must currently possess or have held Public Trust clearance or higher

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum of 1 certification in either Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI

Minimum of 6 years' experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Minimum of 3 years of experience building complex data models

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technology consultant for Federal government clients

Strong communication skills, detail-oriented mindset, and commitment to high-quality outcomes

Residency in the DC Metro area with availability to work onsite in Washington, D.C. and Alexandria, VA for 1 day per week

 Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in a related field

Proficiency in database systems, SQL queries, and programming languages like R or Python

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
