Overview:
i3 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to be located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The candidate selected will serve on the IBCS Agile Transition contract as part of the Shared Services Support Integration Team within the Support, Infrastructure, and Labs IPT.
Responsibilities:
Integrate IP based Tactical Networks primarily consisting of RHEL Systems and Cisco devices
Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities
Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
Serve as an Integration SME to include supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and suggesting changes to improve performance
Interact with Senior leadership when required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of Engineering experience; 4 additional years acceptable in lieu of a degree.
Hands on Strong experience engineering or administering Cisco networks and/or RHEL Systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a high stress and dynamic environment
Current Security certification (e.g. Security+ CE or CISSP)
Strong problem-solving skills
Current Secret security clearance and ability to maintain required
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Linux Administration Experience (RHEL)
Understanding of routing and switching experience debugging network-oriented applications
Experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment

Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
