ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) Certification required

Additional desired ServiceNow certs (CIS IT Service Management, CIS - Discovery, CIS Cloud Provisioning & Governance or Certified Application Developer)

Position Requirements:

The individual in this role will contribute to the design, execution, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platforms across multiple environments and modules. Liaising with technology teams, process owners and counterparts to define, execute and manage application sustainment, enhancement, and/or new development. This position is critical in supporting the development and implementation of the overall ServiceNow platform. This role will also have cross functional collaboration responsibilities with other areas of ServiceNow Platform, including but not limited to being the first point of contact for defect management, and new enhancement development.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including, CMDB, Service Catalog, Purchase Order Request (POR), Vendor Access Requests (VAR), Contract Management, Asset Management and other ServiceNow modules.

Ensure all work adheres to standard work, policies, and best practices for development and platform maintenance.

Maintains compliance with system policies regarding sensitive data.

Customize and configure ServiceNow workflows, forms, fields, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to meet functional requirements, automate and streamline processes.

Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow modules and other systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and integration of business processes.

Perform solution unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure the stability and reliability of the ServiceNow solutions.

Stay informed about ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend and implement enhancements to optimize functionality.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ServiceNow development team, mentoring junior team members & Citizen developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development activities, ensuring comprehensive documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Define comprehensive development strategies that perfectly align with the overarching goals for ServiceNow products and processes.

Participate in the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.

Work closely with ITSM Manager and cross-functional teams to orchestrate the integration of data from various sources into ServiceNow, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and alignment of the integrated data with business imperatives.

Leverage ServiceNow capabilities to create robust, efficient, and secure development solutions.

Establish innovative methods to solve internal and customer needs.

Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.

Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and business rules to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Required Skills:

4+ years of hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow tools and processes.

2+ years of ServiceNow development.

Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a team (in any capacity) or as an independent contributor.

The candidate must demonstrate a strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to share and communicate coding excellence and quality into the team and culture.

The candidate must be able to independently perform ongoing maintenance, research, problem resolution, and support tasks as needed.

Strong and personable communication skills to work with customers to identify and formulate solution scope and objectives.

Experience with UI Builder, Workspaces, App Engine Studio, Portal

Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub and Flow Designer for automating processes and workflows.

Experience designing and developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (SharePoint, Teams, etc.) including use of ServiceNow's Integration Hub, and/or custom APIs.

Desired Skills:

Experience in all phases of ServiceNow development including requirements gathering and analysis, system design, prototype development, site design, configuration control, testing, software quality assurance, and maintenance. This includes scoped applications and service portal.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic delivery environment with versatility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and urgent issues successfully and simultaneously.

Server-side scripts utilizing the most efficient GlideRecord methods to reduce overall processing time.

Design and modification of ServiceNow scripts, creation of service maps, SLAs and agent workspace and performance analytics.

Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains

Hands-on MID-server configuration experience and architecture understanding

Real-world experience in ServiceNow Workspaces and interactive Dashboards is a plus
