Job Requirements / Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment
Design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities
Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes
Responsible for owning and managing the end to end technical delivery of all the projects
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
10 - 12 years' experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
5+ years of experience with the latest Angular version
Background in enterprise stress testing
Agile / JIRA
Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses
Prior development or infrastructure support experience
In-depth knowledge of development tools and language
Able to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform
Attention to detail is key and should mentor new team members
Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations
Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Software development using agile methodology and processes Desired Skills:
Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
Understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum
Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
