Job Description
As the System Admin on the infrastructure support team, you are an experienced IT infrastructure professional, implementing most standard procedures independently. This includes daily monitoring of the production environment, timely communication of issues to employees and IT management, and analysis of problems or malfunctions to ensure timely resolution. Jobs in this family perform proactive and preventative tasks. Such as analytics monitoring, capacity management, patching systems, and replacement end of life equipment.
Essential Functions
Infrastructure Support: Provides 7 x 24 IT infrastructure support as part of the regular on-call rotation.
Troubleshooting: May provide technical leadership and guidance to more junior team members. Performs troubleshooting and resolution on systems.
Maintenance: Repairs, upgrades, and provides preventative maintenance on nearly all technologies in the production environment. Proactively monitors all platforms, ensuring uptime, performance, and service levels are always maintained for all production systems.
Process Improvement: Assists in Creating new processes for better support and training. Creating new automation to reduce human error. Innovate on technology.
Testing: Participates in Business continuity testing and execution.
Incident Support: Supports the incident management processes. Able to monitor ticket queues and resolve production performance, server, and application related issues to ensure the restoration of the environment.
Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
