Job Title: POS System Administrator

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking POS System Administrators to support a key POS implementation project. Each POS Admin will be assigned to a specific brand, working closely with operations teams and the development group to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of the new POS system.

The role involves understanding the operational requirements of each brand, translating those needs into technical solutions, and collaborating with the development team to customize and optimize the POS system.

The POS Systems Administrator maintains the Point of Sale (POS) database to ensure accurate and timely pricing of menu items, setting up promotional items, and configuring the loyalty program.This position maintains product pricing and recipe information, tests database changes, and performs the distribution of changes to the stores, bakeries, and restaurants (SBRs). This position performs database requests (e.g., adding/modifying items, updating pricing, adding/removing functionality, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary POS System Administrator for one brand, providing technical and operational support.

Collaborate with brand leadership and operations to understand functional requirements for the new POS system.

Work with the development team to customize and implement the QU POS system for each brand.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the implementation and go-live stages.

Support system testing, updates, and upgrades as needed.

Provide end-user training and support to ensure the system meets operational needs.

Document configurations, workflows, and procedures for each brand's POS system.

Assist in migrating from legacy systems such as Aloha, Ravel, and Toast, ensuring a smooth transition.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience working with QU POS systems.

Experience supporting or transitioning from legacy POS systems like Aloha, Ravel, and Toast (preferred).

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze operational needs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and operational teams.

Restaurant industry experience is essential to understand brand-specific needs.

Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
