The Client is looking for: Programmer Analyst 3

Posting Summary: Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.

Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.

T-SQL Query Writing:

Function: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.

Experience: 10+ years, including developing processes for data extraction, migration, and cleansing.

Data Management:

Function: Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis.

Experience: 10+ years.

Source Control:

Function: Work with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT.

Experience: 5+ years.

Unit Testing:

Function: Document and perform unit testing to support program changes.

Experience: 10+ years.

Documentation:

Function: Create, update, and maintain documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.

Testing:

Function: Collaborate with clients and/or Business Analysts to support test scenarios.

Experience: 5+ years.

Production Support:

Function: Analyze and document problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.

Experience: 5+ years.

Change Management:

Function: Follow change management procedures and provide input for executing changes.

Experience: 5+ years.

Top Skills and Experience:

SQL Query Writing: 10+ years of high-level SQL query writing skills for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.

T-SQL Query Writing: 10+ years.

Unit Testing: 10+ years of documenting and performing unit testing.

PowerBuilder Development: 5+ years with version 7 or higher.

Source Control Technologies: 5+ years with TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.

Interview Process:

Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams.

Candidates should use a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if asked.

Location & Work Schedule:

Local candidates are strongly preferred. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays.

Onsite work is required starting day 1, following a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days a week with Wednesdays mandatory; the other onsite day can be flexible).
