CCIE Enterprise Network Engineer
Project: Cisco/MSFT 88xx Remediation Sync
Duration: 1 Year
*TRAVEL REQUIRED*
Pay Rate: $50.00-60.00/hr; travel expenses to be reimbursed
Location: On site work to be performed in multiple locations, including but not limited to: Phoenix AZ, Chicago IL, Washington DC
Engage directly with end client, Cisco, and consulting resources.
Replacement of Fabric Cards in Large 88XX Routers by Cisco for Microsoft with Consultants performing the service.
MOPs created by Cisco
Work with Cisco in data centers
Work with Cisco and Consulting Lead Engineer on site. Estimated 8 weeks on each site.
Required Skills:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure certification
High Competency of Cisco Routers, preferably Cisco 8800 (IOS-XR)
High Competency of Cisco Switches
Extensive routing and switching expertise troubleshooting advanced segmented network topologies
Deep understanding of complex (multi-VRF, multi-AS) routing environments
Experience with overlay technologies such as VxLAN, EVPN, MP-BGP
Hands on experience troubleshooting large hardware platform diagnostics and troubleshooting
Background in complex hardware and system log and debug analysis for platform troubleshooting
Extensive and/or urgent travel may be required
Must have confidence and knowledge of the scope and tasks.
Must be self-motivated with experience providing project solutions to multiple departments.
Must have experience interacting with clients, equipment manufacturers, and consultants.
