Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in supporting technology executives and their portfolio of work through full lifecycle
Manages portfolio, ensures compliance to standards, and drives continuous improvement
Play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic goals, driving execution and ensuring successful delivery of complex technical initiatives within a Technology Executive's organization
Responsible for program/project delivery within Tech Exec Portfolio of work as well as tracking the strategic outcomes to ensure successful execution
Ensure risks and impediments raised to the portfolio level are resolved quickly
Accountable for Tech Exec Portfolio Level Resource Financial Management
Ensure adherence to the ECM process and the work delivered complies with standards
Provide centralized coordination between key strategic portfolios
Requirements:
Proven track record as an experienced project manager directly managing the delivery of solutions
Experience driving end-to-end delivery across large and complex project efforts ensuring all people, process, and technology deliverables are managed on time and with high quality
Ability to manage project budget and financials (project budgets will typically range from $1-$5MM); resource will own monthly project forecasting deliverables
Experience providing project updates and leading discussions with senior Technology and LOB partners; demonstrates ability to communicate and adjust level of detail and messaging based on audience
Demonstrates strong competence with core project management tools and processes used at client within Global Technology, specifically around enterprise change management requirements (this role will own all governance and updates across project execution and financials)
Self-starter, requiring minimal direction and takes ownership of the assignment and drive it to completion, while also partnering with resources in a matrixed environment
Desired Skills:
Proven track record as a capable project manager
Experience leading Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid projects
Experience with delivering Global Technology
PMP certification
