Overview:
Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Project Manager in Mundelein, IL.  This is a Contract-to-hire opportunity that is Hybrid and offers outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.

Lead the execution of IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet specified quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

Monitor project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and milestones.

Ensure that all project deliverables meet organizational quality standards and comply with industry best practices.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, meeting minutes, and post-project evaluations.

Continuously assess project management processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulatory, security, and organizational requirements, while providing accurate reporting on project status to leadership.

This is a hybrid-eligible position and requires up to 20% domestic travel.

Min:
USD $50.00/Hr.

Max:
USD $60.00/Hr.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT projects. Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, (url removed)) and familiarity with IT systems, networking, and infrastructure.

Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as hybrid approaches to project management.

Ability to lead and inspire project teams, providing direction and motivation to achieve project goals.

Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Proficiency in managing project budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions.
