About the Role
Voze is looking for a self-starter wanting to build a QA automation strategy from the ground up. We are looking for a self-starter that can both leap into manual QA and build automation. Deep understanding and ownership of our priorities is required. You will own and manage the bug triage process. You will be the first to bring automation to our organization, while keeping quality high with manual testing in the interim.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable QA automation
Develop and maintain test plans, manual tests, manual test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing"
Evaluate and test new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines
Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests.
Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs in partnership with Product
Work closely with customer success, product, and engineering to understand root cause, resource tradeoffs on implementation, and technical feasibility of different solutions
Partner with engineering on test strategies
Collaborate closely with product and design on feature development and create acceptance criteria and test plans
Requirements
What You'll Need
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in QA
Experience with Postman and basic terminal knowledge
Experience with browser dev tools
Experience testing and debugging native mobile iOS and Android apps
Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; ability to own, consult, collaborate, and facilitate
Ability to work with a high degree of initiative and independence, and to prioritize work
Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
A sense of urgency and understanding of fast-paced startup culture
Self-motivated, quick and intuitive learner
Nice to Haves
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD
