Job Description:
As a Sr .NET Web API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying mission-critical APIs for mobile applications. You will leverage your expertise in ASP.NET Core to develop resilient and efficient Restful services. Your role will involve collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless API integration and delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Restful API services using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Service-Oriented Architecture design patterns
Apply SOLID principles, Microservices architecture, and containerization in development
Write unit tests using MSTest or xUnit.NET framework to ensure code quality
Manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using GitHub, Bitbucket/Bamboo, or Azure DevOps
Deploy applications on cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Monitor application performance and health using tools like Splunk or Dynatrace
Automate REST API testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, and SoapUI
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, C#, and building Restful services
Experience with SOLID principles, Microservices, and containerization
Strong debugging skills and familiarity with Visual Studio IDE
Experience in cloud deployment strategies and CI/CD pipeline management
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace
Strong experience with REST API test automation tools like Postman and JMeter
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
