Job Description:
Resource will be responsible for the activities of an Application Systems Application Analyst/Programmer of Master Data Management team of State of Indiana's child welfare system, which is built on PostgreSQL/Ruby on Rails/SQL Server/ASP .Net Platform.
This system is currently being rebuilt on Salesforce and MuleSoft platform .
Resource will work under the direction of the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS), Child Welfare (CW) IT Office.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports for business intelligence.
Work on Integration of data from various sources into a unified system.
Assist in design and implementation of Master Data Management solutions.
Proactive in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.
Adhere to SQL Development best practices.
Meet project deadlines and requirements while working in an independent and remote role.
Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors on a weekly basis, or as requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
Information Technology (IT) Experience
Strong programming skills in languages like T-SQL, PL/pgSQL or other relevant languages
Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data transformation using SSIS or similar
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Advanced
Microsoft SQL/Postgres Database
Master Data Management
Data Analytics and Reporting
Proficient in Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence)
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Advanced
Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Advanced
Experience with Tableau
Experience with other ETL Tools
Experience with MuleSoft
Experience with Salesforce Data
Knowledge of Child Welfare Information System
