CrossTech is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support one of our clients in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid/work from home position.
Job Description
Install, configure and maintain software tools used for file transfers, in support of our enterprise file transfer service.
Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure teams and external business partners to set up, maintain and troubleshoot file transfer connections.
Create, maintain and share technical documentation related to supporting our enterprise file transfer service.
Supports and/or installs software applications and components.
Translate and document business problems and/or user stories to functional applications.
Ensures projects are completed within the committed time and budget.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Work across multiple applications and allocates time appropriately to meet assigned deadlines.
Assist in post implementation support and system enhancements.
Leads in defining system content, structure, and flows.
Lead the overall application software design, research, configure, build, test, and implementation.
Qualifications/Skills
Five (5) or more of related IT work experience supporting file transfer software and services.
Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems, TCP/IP networks and file transfer protocols.
Experience with Sterling File Gateway (required) and BPML (preferred).
Solid Microsoft Technology stack experience
Advanced development skills in ASP.NET ; C#; XML, MVC, REST, SOAP, Web services.
Self-starter with excellent analytical and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
The ability to lead others to drive solutions to completion.
Has led development teams to complete initiatives.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired via work experience or other training.
Compensation
$62-$64/hr.
