We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) workstream, specifically focusing on the delivery of "PIDS 2.0" under a Platform-as-a-Service model. This strategic initiative requires expertise in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using a hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, manage direct reports or matrixed teams, and provide regular metrics-based and narrative reports to the Executive Committee and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate multiple project teams, vendors, and assets to ensure timely and cost-effective sequencing and execution of critical path milestones across several inter-dependent projects within the assigned program and overall portfolio.

Cultivate collaborative partnerships among stakeholders to enable scoping, financial, and resource decisions.

Identify, document, and elevate cross-organizational and vendor-driven dependencies, working with executives and peers to develop and implement appropriate dependency management processes.

Manage assessment of major changes to scope, schedule, and budget through appropriate Program and Enterprise governance approval mechanisms and provide executive-level written status documents.

Support annual planning activities with senior leaders.

Ensure program financial performance and forecasting information is available for executives and government regulators.

Identify and evaluate risks associated with program execution, and work across the organization to establish and monitor mitigation plans.

Develop and maintain required program management artifacts, ensuring all projects have appropriate project management artifacts and processes in accordance with Project Management standards and applicable regulations.

Identify efficiencies and present recommended improvement opportunities at various management levels.

Required Skills & Work Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in large program/project delivery (minimum budget of $5M).

Strong project and program management skills.

Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service.

Highly motivated and self-directed.

Strong customer service orientation.

Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a proven record of presenting to executive-level audiences.

Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project).

Bachelor's degree.

PMP Certification in good standing.

Must have work authorization in the United States.

Preferred Skills & Work Experience:

PgMP Certification.

Prior experience with passenger-facing technologies such as PIDS or Onboard Information Systems (OBIS).

Transportation industry experience delivering hardware/software systems.
