Technical Director

What You'll Be Doing:
Direct and develop new technology capability; identify and mitigate risks to profitability goals for the Business Unit’s portfolios; oversee technical team members to achieve profit goals through workforce planning and project assignments; develop technical solutions and advise clients by collaborating on technical strategy, tactics, and operations; and aid executives to make decisions related to technical approaches that enhance AIS’ services. 

Location and Travel Details:
Columbia, MD and allow remote work from anywhere within the U.S.

Profile of Success:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related and five (5) years of progressive experience in managing and leading cloud-based DevOps solutions projects.

 

Must possess experience with implementing application development projects on MS platform and utilizing MS Azure, Power-BI, .NET Framework, PowerShell, SQL Managed Instance, and Service Management Automation; leading supporting team to achieve project deliverables; managing client relationship; and evaluating the design and development needs of the clients. Must have strong communication, management, and multitask skills.
