Overview:
IT Store Technician is responsible for the overall health of our POS environment. This position is for a master technician capable of supervising and leading a team. You will be the point of escalation for all members of the Help Desk Levels I & II. Work closely and coordinate with various departments in the analysis of store support solutions, system modifications and fixes. You must have a cultivated professional work ethic and thrive in a team environment, along with a strong sense of duty and a reputation for being dependable. Your customer service (soft) skills must be fully matured and skilled in deescalating tense situations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and implement gold standard administration, support, and product strategies for Foot Locker’s Store IT Technician portfolio.
Manage and distribute help desk tickets using help desk ServiceNow software.
Troubleshooting and replacing computers, monitors, document printers, barcode scanners, handheld terminals (HHT’s) and other peripherals in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with development & engineering teams in constructing and testing various integrated job streams.
Create detailed documentation required to implement standard operating procedures for Help Desk levels I & II.
Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation, Provide off-hour assistance and support.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving ability by clearly defining problems, analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and guide colleagues.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exhibit above average reasoning ability by clearly defining problems, analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
Excellent written communication and verbal skills, as well as strong listening skills.
Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
Perform worldwide support for multiple POS systems and OS platforms.
Prefer a bachelor’s or associate degree in an Information Technology related field but can have work related experience in lieu of degree.
Technically proficient at installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows & Linux OS (both in a physical and virtual environment).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 2 – 5 years of work experience in a Linux/Windows environment.
Must have 5+ years of experience in Store and/or Workplace technology
Work experience in systems administration.
Experience with hardware, peripherals, and their staging.
Benefits:
The hourly range is $26.00 to $31.25. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
