DevOps with AWS & Drupal
This is a W-2 position only (no staffing agencies or contractors).
Candidates must currently reside in the U.S.A.
100% remote.
Core hours are 9 am–5 pm CST, with flexibility. Open to any time zone (EST, CST, PST).
Responsibilities:
Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and GitHub/GitHub Enterprise.
Support Drupal websites or similar web applications built on the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
Required Skills:
Proficient in configuring AWS services such as Route 53, SES, CloudFront, WAF, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
Experience automating infrastructure using Terraform.
Proficiency in configuring build automation tools like Jenkins and/or Acquia Pipelines.
Experience working collaboratively with version control systems (Git).
Automation experience using Git Hooks and Webhooks.
Experience automating quality assurance testing with Cypress or Behat.
Strong scripting and automation background.
Ability to prioritize shifting initiatives.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Additional Desired Technical Skills and Experience:
Drupal installation, configuration, and production deployment in Acquia Cloud Next.
Experience with local development containerization tools like DDEV, Lando, or Docksal.
Proficiency in using and configuring Acquia Code Studio.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with data and log management tools like Cribl and Splunk.
Familiarity with application performance monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Dynatrace).
Knowledge of web performance optimization best practices.
Drupal 8 experience, including building, extending, and configuring sites using core and contributed modules.
Interest or experience in security (penetration testing, identifying and remediating security issues, etc.).
Performance optimization or testing experience (Lighthouse testing, JMeter, Varnish reverse proxy, Redis, Memcached).
Drupal or Symfony certifications.
Active participation in the open-source community (high level of commitment and contribution).
