Sr. Full Stack Developer (Tech Lead)

Long Term Contract

Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities

Engineer and support code for break-fix, maintenance, and enhancements, integrating container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines.

Design and develop cloud-native applications and features with a focus on clean, efficient, supportable, and well-documented code across the full technology stack.

Ensure adherence to methodology, standards, and procedures.

Deliver efficient solutions and outputs to shorten project lifecycles where applicable.

Own product quality by actively engaging in testing activities and quality assurance processes.

Create visual models such as flowcharts, class/activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams to represent design architecture.

Lead resolution of issues with interfacing systems built on diverse technologies.

Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies and facilitate team meetings.

Support critical operational environments using monitoring tools, data feeds, and detailed analysis of production issues.

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or a related technical role.

Proficiency in Java 11/J2EE frameworks, design patterns, and development tools.

Extensive SQL development and PL/SQL programming skills, with experience using Oracle 18c or TOAD.

Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices with tools like Swagger, JSON, and POSTMAN.

Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.

Experience with Spring Framework (SpringBoot, SpringBatch) and deploying applications in AWS.

Familiarity with Containers (Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift), DevOps pipelines, API Gateways, Lambda functions, GitLab, and related technologies.

Proficiency in Angular framework development.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas both technically and non-technically.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Competitive Edge

Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) and associated technologies (Cluster, Compute pool, Pods, Namespaces, etc.).

Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, VPC, Route 53, ELB, etc.

Proficiency in test automation and tools such as Postman, Mockito, and SonarQube.

Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification.
