System / Software Engineer - Embedded Systems (contract)

KEYS / MOST IMPORTANT CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

Experience using Simulink

Model Based Design 

Safety Critical Systems experience (e.g. FDA, DO178, Nuclear)

REQUIRED

Bachelor Degree or higher

5+yrs’ exp in embedded safety-critical software engineering

Familiar with Model-based software design using Simulink

Experience in the design of embedded software solutions

Exp in defining, assessing and modifying software architectures

Exp with integration (SW/HW and SW/SW), component level testing

Exp with software life cycle (Reqts, Design, Verification, Release)

Exp with design of safety-critical control systems

Exp with Python, C, C++, and/or Groovy

Familiar with continuous integration and testing frameworks, eg, Jenkins

DUTIES

Develop safety-critical control software to DO-178 standard

Software architecture support to enable SW-SW integration and testing

Develop and modify processes and methods to achieve compliance 

Set up / modify continuous integration deployment (CI/CD) frameworks
