Overview:
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Data Analyst with experience working with SAP Intercompany processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SAP systems, and intercompany transactions. This role involves working closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate and efficient data management across intercompany processes.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and interpret data related to intercompany transactions within SAP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies.
SAP Intercompany Processes: Support and manage intercompany data flows within SAP, including invoicing, reconciliations, and eliminations, while ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
Data Integrity & Quality: Maintain high standards of data integrity and quality by conducting regular audits, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to gather requirements, develop reports, and provide insights into intercompany data trends and issues.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the intercompany data management workflow, recommending and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation for intercompany processes, providing training and support to end-users as needed.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day support for intercompany data-related issues, troubleshooting problems and working with IT to resolve system-related challenges.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations related to intercompany transactions and data management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 3-7 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years of experience working with SAP Intercompany processes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, particularly in modules related to intercompany transactions (e.g., FI, CO). Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and reporting.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues from different departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP advanced modules
Familiarity with intercompany transfer pricing and global trade regulations
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
