Software Engineer 3

GT Title: Software Engineer - Expert New Title; Assesses a well-defined problem and leads the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards. Manages small- to moderate-sized solutions, or plays a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints. Provides direction to team members and/or vendors. Advises product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulates options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and works with product owners to determine the best solution.

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs.

REQUIRED:

Strong Computer Science fundamentals

2+ years professional software development experience

Programming - Python, Golang

Infrastructure as Code / Dev Ops practices and technologies like Terraform

AWS Cloud services experience

Experience developing and using microservices

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Knowledgeable on AIML / machine learning concepts (Client Serving / Client Training, GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, A/B Testing, Model Experimentation)

Experience with Big Data technologies (e. g. Spark)

Experience with Databricks ecosystem
