Overview:
As a Development Team Lead/Scrum Master on our team you will be responsible for coaching, directing, and providing feedback to a team of developers. You will also provide feedback on existing products and contribute to the design of new product features. You and your teams will build intuitive and highly scalable web applications using the Microsoft stack. This position can be based out of one of our offices or remote. #LI-DNI 

 

Location: 222 N La Salle Street, Suite 2125, Chicago, IL 60601 and various unanticipated worksites in U.S.

 

Travel: Telecommuting from home office location anywhere in U.S. is permissible for position.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing day to day oversight of assigned work, coaching, and providing feedback to a team of developers.

Provide feedback on existing products and contribute to the design of new product features.

Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.

Build responsive web applications that work across different screen sizes.

Test software development methodology in an agile environment.

Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.

This position supervises 7 employees whose titles are Senior Full Stack Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, and Associate Full Stack Engineer.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.

In addition to the degree, must have all of the following post-degree, progressive experience (may be gained concurrently):

6+ years of programming experience

3+ years of Scrum Master/Software Development Program Management experience

1+ years of programming experience as Team Lead

1+ years of experience with core property and casualty insurance software development

Any amount of experience in software development with C, C#, ASP.Net, and SQL Server

Any amount of experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
