State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

The compensation range for CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, and MA is $48,835 to $87,903.

The compensation range for NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, and ME is $44,395 to $79,911.

The compensation range for UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, and WV is $39,956 to $71,920.

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary:

The primary job function of the Technical Support Specialist I to be responsible for planning, upgrading, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software related to end-user computing devices such as desktop, laptop, mobile devices, their peripherals and related technologies.

Essential Job Functions:
-Provides day to day technical and operational support for Desktop and Laptop Computers including complex technical support troubleshooting, system monitoring, and hardware and software upgrade, setup, installation.
-Plans and executes new deployments, upgrades and technology refreshes.
-Schedules and/or coordinates vendor service calls (e.g. repairs, installations, equipment removal, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:
Education:  

 

Worker characteristics are normally acquired through completion of a 2-year undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field. 

Completion of related industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ recommended.

 

Experience: 

 

1-3 years of prior end-user Computing Support including configuration, installation, upgrade planning, and troubleshooting complex operating system and hardware issues.

 

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of experience with ServiceNow

1-2 years of experience with Windows Autopilot

 

Knowledge and Skills:  

 

 Experience in supporting, upgrading and evaluating Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office applications, Android or IOS operating systems and related hardware and software systems.

 Experience with end-user device scripting, packaging and imaging technologies.

 Experience with end-user device security and endpoint management and protection technologies.

 Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

 Follows end-user computing processes and procedures and may make recommendations to these processes.

 Require excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complicated concepts to both management and technical staff and thrive in cross-functional environment is highly recommended. 

 Must be able to travel to remote company locations and be available to work extended hours and/or weekends on short notice.
