About the Job:
Sandy Spring Bank is hiring for a Talent Management Systems Administrator. This position is the subject matter expert for the Bank’s Talent Management and related systems including security administration, business process design, end user experience and reporting/analytics. This role performs maintenance for the TMS (Cornerstone) and provides support to the design and administration of online courses and learning technologies. The Talent Management Systems Administrator configures and supports the environment; ensures data accuracy and integrity; participates in and/or leads the testing and implementation of tasks and workflows; and performs and documents changes related to Cornerstone configuration and enhancements.

 

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Learning Technologies Administrator

Performs System Administration tasks including, but not limited to, content management, system upgrade testing and validation, publisher configuration and troubleshooting, system-level communication, database reporting, and related tasks.

Explores and builds expertise on various learning tools (LMS, virtual, authoring tools, etc.) to craft standard methodologies for optimal usage that supports positive employee experience.

Researches and monitors current trends in learning technology and advocates for the use of new technologies that support the needs and goals of the organization, offer organizational learning solutions, and provide novel approaches that enhance the learning experience.

Analyze current processes and business requirements to make recommendations for improvements.

Works with vendors to resolve application issues.

Assists and collaborates with learning and design teams in optimizing the use of digital technologies as they design new programs or revise existing ones with the overall aim of enhancing the learning experience.

 

Learning Technology Support and Consultation

Consults and collaborates with the learning program manager and business managers to identify training metrics for learning effectiveness and business impact. Establishes, monitors, evaluates and analyzes training program metric periodically reports them to key stakeholders.  

Maintains and updates learning content in the platform as it becomes available.

Manages the adoption of new applications and learning technology tools.

 

Talent Management Support and Consultation

Consults and collaborates with the Talent Development Manager and Human Resource Managers to plan and implement talent management activities.

Leverages system capabilities to manage Succession Planning, Performance Management, Talent Reviews and other development activities.

Required Skills:
Extensive knowledge and usage of learning technologies including LMS, virtual learning platforms, online authoring tools, and the like.

Minimum five years’ experience in system administration roles.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to self-manage critical project timelines to ensure on time completion.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic HTML is a plus.

 

SPECIFIC PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Work requires reasonable mobility in and around the work area.  Ability to use standard computer and phone systems is required

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

Normal office environment where there is almost no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.

 

Work includes little or no potential exposure to hazardous conditions.

 

Must be able to travel to throughout SSB footprint as needed.

Compensation Information:
At Sandy Spring Bank, compensation is one part of our total rewards package. Compensation within the range will depend on your skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Additionally, full-time and part-time positions may be eligible to participate in department or company-wide incentive plans.
