Strategy & Operations Specialist, for College Remote: Geographies - Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST 40 hours per week 3-6 months with possible extension Number of Positions: 2-4 About the Team is looking for an entrepreneurial Strategy & Operations Specialist to help scale at Colleges, one of our fastest growing new businesses. We're looking for unicorns–people who can think strategically at the highest level while simultaneously managing and executing the day-to-day actions necessary to achieve our ambitious goals. This role requires someone who can build, blend analytics with creativity to scope and solve complex problems, think about the short and long-term goals; and manage critical initiatives from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for driving consumer growth at colleges and leading initiatives that impact ’s broader ecosystem across Consumers, Merchants and Dashers. About the Role We're looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, hands-on, and data-driven leader to manage and scale our Campus Launcher program. You’ll be responsible for ensuring each campus meets its semesterly goals while driving new growth initiatives. You will own the management of school-level metrics, providing guidance and resources to Campus Launchers to push adoption and engagement. You’ll take initiative in driving the ideation, planning, strategy, and go-to-market for operational projects aimed at furthering 's presence at colleges. Success in this role will be driving student adoption and engagement growth while balancing multiple projects and cross functional teams. Manage: Oversee the performance of Campus Launchers, ensuring teams meet ambitious targets, providing coaching and support to keep teams on track to achieve key growth metrics. Recruit: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to bring on high-performing Campus Launchers, building a reliable and motivated team at colleges across the country. Build. Take ownership of new initiatives from 0 to 1, rapidly testing and launching projects that drive additional impact for the business. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details. Strategize. Develop and implement creative strategies to drive growth at colleges, innovate to solve complex challenges and find new ways to exceed performance metrics. Analyze. Assess performance data and market trends to refine strategies and workflows, always pushing for that 1% better every day. Adapt. You have 1+ years of experience in startups, strategy, consulting, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth or early-stage start-up experience Nice to Haves Demonstrable success leading initiatives, establishing and achieving goals, and succeeding in a team environment You have success executing business development opportunities or negotiating partnerships You’re proficient in Google Sheets, with strong data manipulation and analysis skills, and comfortable using the broader Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Drive) for collaboration and productivity.
