Job Title: Business Operations Analyst

Location: McLean, VA 22102 (Hybrid - Tue through Thu onsite)

Duration: 6 months

Contract Type: W2 only

Pay Rate Range: $50 - $60/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and streamline business processes related to pricing and valuation of mortgage-backed securities.

Develop and maintain SQL queries and tools for analyzing large financial datasets.

Support enhancements to pricing systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SOX controls.

Prepare and present operational and financial reports for senior management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies and portfolio transactions.

Track key operational metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Lead initiatives to improve data quality, reporting frequency, and system performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.

5+ years of experience in business operations, pricing, or capital markets.

Strong proficiency in SQL, VBA, and data analytics.

Experience with pricing, valuation, and financial modeling.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Preferred:

Experience with mortgage-backed securities, SOX controls, and financial reporting.

Familiarity with risk management and capital markets operations.
