SDET

This req is for SDET supporting our Dispute Resolution team and their effort to create a new mobile application. A person in this role will be responsible for driving the test automation strategy, implementing the automated test framework, creating a full suite of automated functional, performance and security tests and for validating iOS and Android compatibility. The candidate will be working directly with the team to understand new requirements, create/update tests to ensure full coverage of new and updated functional requirements, conduct release testing to ensure confidence in the mobile app prior to release, and provide production support for deployments and user support.

The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience with mobile testing and prior hands on experience with testing apps built on React Native Hybrid platform. The ideal candidate will be able to drive assurance activities within the team, be able to work independently to complete tasks, help the team validate deliverables and help drive quality assurance best practices within the team. An incoming candidate needs to have strong communication and assurance skills.

Must-Haves (please do not send candidates that do not meet these criteria):

Strong technical expertise in mobile testing using physical devices and emulators, with focus on testing apps built on React Native Hybrid platform

Hands on experience standing up automation framework from scratch for testing mobile applications

Expertise testing and supporting launch of mobile apps in Apple store and Android play store

Demonstrated quality assurance experience and expertise

Ability to guide the team with respect to quality assurance best practices and drive adoption of these practices within the team

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work with light supervision

Demonstrable experience seeking out information and learning through self-research

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to assess, communicate, mitigate and escalate risks when necessary

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with agile development methodologies

Experience with mobile app development using React Native Hybrid platform and ability to contribute to development activities
