Overview:

 

The Systems Analyst role works in the Seminole Hard Rock Support Services IT department and it supports a fast growing organization and a worldly recognized brand. The System Analyst is responsible for understanding at a technical level the products they support and implement. This role configures, supports, maintains and implements applications based on requirements and business needs. The Systems analyst works with a variety of members in all departments in the technology team as well as with vendors and/or partners. He/she is an active participant in meetings and discussions about vendor products and how they are utilized within the organization, as well as how they fit in the technology stack. This role also involves all facets of the LMS system understanding, Revenue and rating strategy analysis, CMP casino point, Interface configuration and installation of new, Finance LMS A/R module, Menu modifications, Freedompay, User maintenance and security. 

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains schedule of applications refreshes. Collaborates with different members of the IT department and vendors to execute upgrades to existing systems.

Key and active participant in the design of technical solutions to solve business problems, abiding to architectural principles and standards.

Configure new and existing applications according to specifications.

Technical expert and/or liaison on a series of products within the technology stack, working with vendors as needed. Develops technical documentation in a clear and concise manner. Deeply understands technical requirements.

Works with IT team to define and execute long and short term roadmap.

Perform tuning and maintenance of applications.

Supports assigned applications in collaboration with level 1 support and other members of the IT department including vendor resources.

Participates in industry and products educational events and professional organizations.

Mentors and teaches junior systems analysts as needed

Perform lunch and learns and demos, Educate business and IT members on products.

Follows operational IT processes.

Escalates issues to appropriate team member as needed.

Qualifications:
 

Experience:

University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

3-5 years of experience as a systems analyst in a complex technical environment, some of those working as a lead systems analyst or a senior analyst mentoring staff.

Experience and Knowledge of Hospitality systems such as  PMS, HotSOS, Delphi, Ving, Incomm, Delphi, Travel click, Rainmaker, Windsurfer or any other competitor products.

A working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, AS400, .?

Experience with SQL concepts and programming - Experience with ETL/ FTP concepts and automation

Experience in creating, building, and maintaining different libraries in AS/ 400 environment

Excellent understanding of Application Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts

In-depth knowledge of SQL/ 400 and other AS/400 utilities? understanding of Command Line & OS/ 400 commands

Management of Vendor and Business relationships

Perform iSeries/ AS400 Technical Support & Operations

Ability be part of the On-duty call rotation schedule.

Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired

In -depth knowledge of Agilysys Property management System LMS.

Any experience in Web services or Application Integration or Modernization area on AS/ 400 would be an added advantage.

Provide technical support and project support, gathering and understanding of business requirements.

Assist in deployment and provide post-deployment support Provide technical support during testing?

Interaction with client team independently.

Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)

Excellent communication skills to provide End user-focus updates on projects and support issues.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Microsoft Office Skills.

Aptitude for learning new technology.

Experience using remote troubleshooting tools such as Bomgar, RDP, Logmein 

Exceptional Customer Service Skills.

Analytical and growth mindset, independent thinker, and strong problem solver

Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience writing technical support and end user documentation.

General IT Networking Knowledge 

Extensive hands-on equipment support and troubleshooting experience with AS400, desktops, laptops, printers, or other IT equipment.?
