Main Sail is seeking a Project Analyst to support a U.S. Navy initiative aimed at improving supply chain security, resilience, and transparency. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements for new business applications, modernize legacy systems, and drive technology-focused initiatives that align with the client’s mission. Through collaboration with internal and external partners, the division ensures that technology solutions are effectively implemented to support business objectives and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in reviewing and analyzing existing IT platforms and systems to identify and fill operational gaps.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to support system modernization and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Support system change requests and coordinate with IT teams for seamless delivery.

-Work alongside senior team members to support integrated project teams, coordinating across various business lines.

- Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.

- Participate in project performance management by collecting and analyzing project data and metrics.

- Help develop standard operating procedures and reporting templates for ongoing projects.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

- 4 years of experience in an IT analyst, business analyst, or junior project management role, preferably within a government or consulting environment.

- Basic knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware.

- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMBOK).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business analysis tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Location: Remote

Period of Performance: 1 Year (January 2025 to January 2026), with the possibility for extensions.
