Genesis10 is currently seeking a SQL Developer/Data Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Technology Business Systems Consulting
Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Technology Business Systems Consulting challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Support significant portions of the Axiom implementation and reporting modernization project
Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
Conduct data analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Requirements:
5+ years of Business Systems Data or Business Systems Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in SQL, Python, Data Analysis, Excel
Desired Skills:
Experience in Alteryx
Thorough understanding of the design, development, and implementation of software solution
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI
Working knowledge of importing data for use in report software or analytical tool
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Product knowledge in some or all the following areas (loans and leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and financial reporting: Client, OCC, SEC, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities
