Senior Backend Web Application Developer

In this position, you will collaborate with a team to develop data-centric applications, design backend solutions, and ensure security, scalability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the development of new applications from conception to deployment

Design and program backends for data-driven applications

Specify database schemas, write queries, manage APIs, and handle data marshalling

Implement backend authentication, validation, caching, and parallelization

Use secure techniques for data confidentiality and integrity

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in C# and .NET programming

BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Experience with rapid web app development (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, SPA)

SQL, relational DB design, object-oriented library development, and API management

Proficient in debugging, performance analysis, and documentation

Hands-on product development experience, not consulting

Proficient with Git version control (Azure DevOps a plus)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Financial background, asset valuation algorithms, or statistical knowledge is a plus

Work Location:

Available for remote work within the continental US or for in-office work.
