Location: Dallas, TX (on-site 1 - 2 days a week preferred)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infor Lawson Consultant with extensive expertise in Lawson systems to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the implementation of Workday. This role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition from Lawson to Workday by providing deep technical knowledge, strategic guidance, and hands-on support throughout the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the principal expert on Lawson Infor systems, including HR, Finance, and Supply Chain modules. Provide in-depth knowledge and insight into Lawson functionalities and how they will be mapped to Workday.

Implementation Support: Collaborate with Workday implementation teams to ensure that Lawson data, processes, and workflows are accurately and efficiently migrated to Workday. Provide guidance on best practices and potential pitfalls based on Lawson experience.

Process Mapping and Integration: Work closely with business analysts and developers to map existing Lawson processes to Workday. Identify integration points, develop transition plans, and ensure that data integrity is maintained throughout the process.

Configuration and Testing: Assist in configuring Workday to meet the needs of the organization, based on knowledge of Lawson processes. Oversee and participate in testing phases to validate that Workday configurations align with business requirements and Lawson functionalities.

Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on the new Workday system, leveraging your expertise in Lawson to facilitate understanding of new processes. Document transition procedures and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Issue Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for resolving issues related to the Lawson to Workday transition. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for complex problems that arise during the implementation process.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, including project managers, business leaders, and IT teams. Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and any issues that may impact the project timeline or outcomes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lawson Consultant with a focus on Info modules (HR, Finance, Supply Chain). Prior experience with Workday implementations is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of Lawson Infor systems and their functionalities. Familiarity with Workday configuration and implementation processes is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and processes. Proven ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in large-scale system implementations, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Lawson or Workday are advantageous.
