Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Python/Java/AWS Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD.
This Position is 100% Remote.
Education/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least eight (8+) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
Demonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented and database technologies / concepts which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions.
Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment.
Knowledge of industry leading software engineering approaches including Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworks.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
Expertise using Python and Java
Expertise with AWS asynchronous workflow services including: Step Functions, Lambda, SNS & SQS
Database experience such as DocumentDB, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and SOLR as well as SQL database
Preferred Skills:
Domain knowledge of SEC EDGAR and iXBRL would be highly preferred.
