Responsibilities:
Seeking a Systems Administrator to support an IC mission in the Columbia, MD area.
Responsibilities may include:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
Provide support to IT systems including Day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems
Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolutions of problems
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis.
Demonstrated design, plan, installation, configuration, and sustainment of Red Hat Linux (RHEL).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Five (5) years' experience as a Linux SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required.CCNA-Security OR CySA+ OR GICSP OR GSEC OR Security+ CE OR CND OR SSCP
Experience with VMWare, exposure to AWS.
Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Target Salary Range:
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
