Job Description:
As a .Net Full Stack Developer, you will join the Retail Onboarding and Activation team to build customer-facing and backend applications. The team is focused on driving client-centricity, reducing time to market, and increasing efficiency. The ideal candidate shares a passion for technology, innovation, and excellence, thrives in fast-paced environments, and embraces change passionately. We are moving towards a Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration environment using Bamboo and BitBucket. You will work alongside a team of seasoned engineers responsible for maintaining all aspects of the software development lifecycle and ensuring the on-time, quality delivery of software product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities.
Perform thorough design and code reviews.
Provide technical direction and support to team members.
Engage in hands-on coding, unit testing, and resolving production issues.
Lead the design and implementation of new features and bug fixes.
Contribute to product roadmap discussions and long-term planning.
Develop tools and practices to increase team efficiency.
Mentor junior team members and support their career development.
Partner with developers, product owners, technical leads, and architects.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
8+ years of full stack application development experience with mentoring of junior developers.
Expertise in developing and implementing web-enabled applications using ASP.NET, Angular/AngularJS, JSON/XML, Sync/Async services.
Strong experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, RESTful API design, Microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Proficiency in relational database technologies (SQL/Oracle).
Experience working in distributed monolithic and cloud-based microservices environments (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry preferred).
Knowledge of Agile development, web application environments, security, performance tuning, debugging methodologies, and deployment strategies.
Proficient in CI/CD concepts, unit testing, API test automation, and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective time management with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
