The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing IT projects for our clients, as well as internal company projects. The IT Project Manager will use industry and iT1 best practices to achieve all goals set for each individual project they manage. This will be accomplished through clear communication with all project stakeholders, efficient resource allocation, scope, budget, and timeline planning.
Requirements
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan to track and measure progress
Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using all appropriate tools and methodologies
Successfully manage the relationship with clients and all project stakeholders
Create and maintain project documentation
Perform risk management to minimize exposure to any potential risks to the company and clients
Proactively researches and locates the necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they develop; analyzes/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with internal customers, clients, manufacturers, and the general public
Performs other duties, as necessary
Qualifications
3-5 years of Project Management experience, IT project management experience is highly desirable
Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a passion for managing and completing projects
Demonstrated experience managing resources and projects in a cross-functional environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to communicate project scope, status, and any issues with all stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
Strong technical writing skills
Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts
Ability to conduct and prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and develop client proposals
Physical Demands
Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)
Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
Job Location
In-Office (hybrid Tues/Thrs) local to the Tempe, AZ area.
